Dr Greg Scrace and Dr Ross Potgieter have been in practice together for the past 8 years. We have an existing patient base of over 19 000, and are constantly growing. The main reason for this being people's lifestyle habits ( increased working hours, stress, etc.) within today's modern society. Doctors of Chiropractic are involved in the healing of patients that have neuromusculoskeletal problems. Simply put , JOINT, NERVE & MUSCLE problems. Ranging from ankle sprains & back ache to headaches. The discipline of chiropractic is scientific and research driven and offers safe and effective treatment protocols in the treatment of various ailments. The aim of the FAMILY CHIROPRACTIC CENTRE is to treat the patient as a whole and not just the pain. Ie: To get to the cause of the problem, whether it be due to trauma (once off or repetitive), lack of excersise, bad dietery habits etc. We have a solid working relationship with the neurosurgeons, orthopaedic surgeons, G.P'S and physio's in the area to provide the best course of treatment for our patients. We believe that all of our patients should be on a maintenance programme, as PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE! A lot cheaper too! A large proportion of our patients are those that are office and car bound. Thus resulting in abnormal spinal movement causing back, neck and headache pain. We treat a large number of babies (from 1 week old), for conditions ranging from: Colic, ear infections, failure to thrive, bad sleep patterns and just for their general wellbeing. From 2010 the Family Chiropractic Centre will have it's own X-RAY facility, thus further improving service to our valued patients.
