Hi my name is Sharyn Bakos and I’ve been personal training for nine years. Leaving the corporate world of working as a travel agent, then working in Sales and marketing – my passion for exercise and fitness is what drew me in. After deciding to do a simple spinning instructors course on the side, the manager of ETA convinced me to do a personal training diploma. This was the first step of a change of career I never expected to make.
Everyday is a challenge for me, each person having his or her own unique goals which I try help them to achieve. For me, just being at the gym trying to reach these goals is an achievement in itself.
I specialize in general toning and fitness, strength training and training specialized for running and triathlons.
My clients range from ages eighteen to eighty-two, each individual just striving to feel good!
My qualifications are:Personal Fitness trainer (Diploma E.T.A)
Sports Massage therapist (Diploma S.M.T.A)
Certified Pilates trainer – mat and ball work (I.F.P)
Certificate in Nutrition and diet (B.H.N)
Certificate in exercise for pregnancy (E.T.A)
The enjoyment I receive from training people from all different walks of life is what makes me love and live my job. I believe health is the greatest asset you can have and if you can make exercise your way of life you are one step closer.
