I would just like to say "Well done" to all 150 athletes that competed this past weekend in the Mr and Ms Fitness SA pageant, at the Grand Arena, Grand West. Guys, to me you are all winners!

For those of you that did not join the 1500 strong spectator crowd. ;-) Well you seriously missed out. And I say it every year, but each year the show just gets better and bigger, and the standard just get higher and higher and we can all be really proud of ourselves to have put such a world class event together and seriously gave Cape Town and South Africa the Biggest and by far, the best Fitness show in the Southern Hemisphere.

We will be keeping you posted with the slots on Super Sport, thanks to G I Lean, our main sponsor, so at least you can catch a glimpse of the event, otherwise there is also a show DVD @ R250 (postage included) that you can order form me via email.

The athletes line-ups where amazing. With 37 Model guys, 27 Bikini girls and no less than 15 in most of the other 7 divisions, the standard was just phenomenal. I want to congratulate all the winners once again. It was not an easy decision for the judges, as the standard was extremely high, but I feel the between the 9 judges for the 5 body divisions and the 14 judges for the routine divisions, they managed to select the best of South Africa to represent us in Las Vegas in November at the International Fitness pageant, thanks to our two main sponsors, G I Lean and S A Guys.

I would also just like to thank all my other sponsors that were involved. They are all on our website under "sponsors". So have a look there, and the more we support the sponsors, the more they can support the athletes and the show, and so we can all make a difference in helping the sow grow. Also the show results should be up today with some pictures, so keep an eye on the missfitness website.

Well done guys / girls. Looking forward to seeing how Vegas goes and will keep you all posted.
