Anti Ageing Creams - The truth about them
In the war against the signs of aging people, women in particular go to extreme lengths to erase any signs of age. This includes using anti-aging creams. Whether over the counter or prescription doesn't matter, they only give a short-term results. In the end, is it worth the side effects that are not revealed?
Side effects likes like skin rashes, allergic reactions, cancer, pimples and the list goes on. The problem with these so-called anti-aging creams is that while they contain collagen, the protein that essential for the skin's elasticity. The problem lies in that the molecule is too large to be absorbed by the skin. So just by applying it topically you are not doing your skin any favors.
Another problem is that most common skin creams and lotions contain parabens. Parabens are preservatives that are added so the cream lasts longer on the shelf. The problem with this is that the parabens have in studies been linked to various health problems and have shown serious side effects when used over long periods of time. Fragrances, while appealing to the nose, sometimes don't do the skin any favors. External moisture in a cream isn't the answer either, that is of little to no use. That just dries the skin out more. However, if you are looking for an anti-aging skin cream that will produce results without harmful results, look for ingredients that are natural in origin like:
• Phytessence Wakame, this is a Japanese sea kelp. This sea kelp has proven to be of great help in fighting skin damage.
• Cynergy TK, this natural substance is found and extracted from New Zealand sheep wool. This stimulates the production of collagen and elastin in our bodies.
Over the years, there has been a great deal of research into the mysteries of aging. And one thing that became clear in respects to wrinkles is that the skin's aging, has to do with internal inflammation of the cells. That means that since it is internal it is not visible to the external. So this internal inflammation is what causes the skin cells to age, and if the inflammation is very bad, places like the face may appear red, indicating a more accelerated appearance of aging. The causes of this internal inflammation of the calls are many including; rapid sugar level fluctuations within the blood (diabetes) and exposure to the sun's UV rays.
So in the eternal war with aging, it appears that like with everything else in life's journey, people need to use a bit of caution when using anti-aging creams.
