Training:
Conditioning, working my stand-up and ground games to perfection. A lot of pad work with my pad holders who are Muay Thai trained. I roll twice a week with top wrestlers.

When and why did you start training for fighting?
Loved the mystery of the fight arts and started martial arts at 13. Sanshou was my first entry into fighting (competition kung fu), won titles to the point that I needed to expand and MMA was there to push me further.

Accomplishments in pro or amateur competition:
Got selected to fight in The Arsenals Tournament in Dubai. South African Sanshou champion in 3 different weight categories. 3rd place at 2003 Sanshou World Cup in heavyweight division at 19 years old. 8th place at 2002 World Wushu championships in Macau in Sanshou. 3rd place at International Kung Fu and Wushu championships in USA at age 17 in Sanshou.

What does it mean for you to fight in EFC AFRICA?
I'm so happy I signed with EFC AFRICA, its opened up doors for me that I didn't think where possible.

What was your job before you started fighting?
Property developer.
